Hi, I'm the Artist behind Apz Photographic Art!! Welcome to my little corner of creativity! , and I’m thrilled to share my creative journey with you. I'm an Animal Care Taker of 20 years with a passion in capturing the unpredictable magical moments where nature, light, and life converge in perfect harmony.
Each piece of my photo art is a vibrant tapestry of colors, tranquil landscapes, and dynamic skies, weaving together unique stories that blur the lines between photography and fine art painting. As well as paint the things that I see or conjure up in my mind. Whether it’s the gentle ripple of water at sunset, the graceful flight of birds, or the intricate beauty of blossoms, my goal is to infuse your space with a sense of wonder, curiosity, and tranquility.

From lens to canvas: A unique artistic evolution
With over 10 years immersed in photography and years of exploring painting as a developing artist, my creative journey has been an unexpected evolution. As my editing skills sharpened, I began transforming my photographs to emulate the rich textures and aesthetics of paintings. This progression naturally led me into the realm of reimagined digital art, where the boundaries between reality and imagination blend harmoniously together.
Bringing joy, nostalgia, and visual delight
When people view my work, my greatest hope is that it brings a sense of joy, nostalgia, and pure visual fun. I want each piece to tell its own story in its own way, inviting people to pause for a moment and take in the colors, textures, and details. Through a mix of bold imagination and unexpected elements, I hope my artwork sparks curiosity, encourages personal interpretation, and maybe even reconnects someone with a familiar feeling or memory.

The Art Exhibition
While on this unexpected Journey. I've had the honor to partake in the 82nd Annual Salon Show at Southshore Art with my Guardians of the Blue Series featuring: Guardian of the Harbor, The Tall Ship Returns, and Beacon on The Lake.
Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to be in this years Salon Show Exhibition.
The creative process: From concept to captivating creation
My artistic process often begins with my own photography, which serves as a loose reference and starting point. From there, I paint in the details — sometimes staying close to the original image, and other times allowing the piece to evolve in a completely different direction. It’s a very organic process, and not every artwork turns out the way I first imagined, but that unpredictability is part of the creative discovery. Other times, I begin with random sketches and let intuition guide the process naturally. This fluid approach allows each piece to become its own unique exploration of creativity and imagination.
